Acceptance of Conditions

By accessing or using Zone Marketplace, you agree to be bound by these Conditions d'utilisation. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the platform.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting. Your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Definitions

Platform: The Zone Marketplace website, including all associated services, APIs, and tools.
User: Any individual who creates an account or accesses the platform.
Vendeur: A user who has registered to sell products or services on the platform.
Virtual Goods: Digital articles, objects, textures, scripts, and other content created for use in OpenSim virtual worlds.
ZoneCoin: The virtual currency used for transactions on the platform.

User Accounts

When creating an account, you agree to:

Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
Accepter responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Virtual Goods and Services

Virtual goods sold on Zone Marketplace are digital content designed for use within OpenSim-compatible virtual worlds. Purchases grant a license to use the item according to the permissions set by the creator (copy, modify, transfer).

Virtual goods have no real-world monetary value. Tous sales are final unless otherwise stated by the vendor. Refund policies are determined by individual vendors, subject to platform minimum standards.

We do not guarantee the continued availability or functionality of virtual goods in any specific grid or simulator environment.

Payments and ZoneCoin

Tous transactions on Zone Marketplace are conducted using ZoneCoin (ZC), a virtual currency. ZoneCoin has no legal tender status and cannot be exchanged for real-world currency through the platform.

Prices are set by vendors. The platform may charge a commission on sales as specified in the vendor agreement. Transaction fees, if any, will be clearly displayed before purchase confirmation.

We are not responsible for errors in pricing set by vendors. In the event of a pricing error, vendors may cancel orders and issue refunds.

Intellectual Property

Vendeurs retain all intellectual property rights to the content they create and sell. By listing products on Zone Marketplace, vendors grant us a non-exclusive license to display, promote, and distribute their products through the platform.

Users must respect the intellectual property rights of creators. Unauthorized copying, redistribution, or modification of purchased articles beyond the permissions granted is strictly prohibited.

Zone Marketplace respects the intellectual property rights of others. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent international copyright laws.

If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed, please submit a DMCA takedown notice to: copyright@zonenations.com. We will investigate and respond to valid notices in accordance with applicable law.

Vendeur Responsibilities

Vendeurs are responsible for:

Ensuring they have the rights to all content they sell, including textures, scripts, and 3D models
Providing accurate descriptions and setting appropriate maturity ratings for their products
Fulfilling deliveries in a timely manner and resolving customer disputes in good faith
Complying with all applicable laws, including intellectual property, consumer protection, and export control regulations

Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following content and conduct are prohibited on Zone Marketplace:

Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
Malicious scripts, griefing tools, or articles designed to cause harm to users, grids, or simulators
Fraudulent listings, deceptive descriptions, or misrepresentation of products
Content that exploits, harms, or endangers minors in any way
Hate speech, harassment, or content that promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, or other protected characteristics

Limitation of Liability

Zone Marketplace is provided ""as is"" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for damages arising from the use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of virtual goods, delivery failures, or grid downtime.

Our total liability to any user shall not exceed the amount paid by that user in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our discretion. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property rights, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) shall survive.

Governing Law

These Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the platform operator is established, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, through binding arbitration or the competent courts.
